- Gaius thinks that claymation shows (Pingu, Shaun the Sheep) are HILARIOUS.
- He still has a severe speach delay, but he's working on it. Recently he's started saying the following: again, yogurt, car, jacket, banana, kitty, george, and go. Although they sound more like aga, gurt, acar/ar, acket, nananana, itty,orge, and co.
- Thinks it's funny to kick like crazy when getting his diaper changed. Mother is not amused.
- He can sign for please, milk, more, and all done -- but only when he feels like it.
- He got his very first hair cut on December 11th. I've finally come to terms with it, but I miss that curly mop top. As I feared, the curls are gone :(
- He will now give hugs & kisses to his favorite Mum when she asks nicely (and he feels like it).
- He is still quite enamored with his doggy. He sleeps with him and takes him upstairs with him to snuggle. He can usually be found tossed to the side somewhere in the living room, but when it comes to time to sleep, the doggy is a must. He currently has two & one in his closet, just in case. Consider his mom paranoid and/or well prepared.
- Gaius loves playing with Hot Wheels cars & his wooden train set. Mom kind of hates them because they're EVEYRWHERE.
- He has entered the toddler bipolar stage: he goes from sweet and snuggly to kicking you and throwing toys at your face in 5 seconds flat.
- Still drools like crazy. His shirts are always soaked around the collar & his chin is always gleaming and covered in a rash. Wonderful.
- OBSESSED with all things alphabet & numbers. Singing the ABCs will get the biggest smile from him.
- Points at just about everything, asking you to label it for him. He then pays very close attention to how you say it... but he never repeats it. It's a start.
