We didn't intend to meet Santa, so I didn't have my real camera on hand to capture the monkey's first meeting with Santa. Aaaand moments like this are why I almost always have a camera thrown in my purse. Oh well.
The whole thing actually went far better than I ever could have hoped. He didn't freak out or cry, instead going with the classic overwhelmed reaction of furiously rubbing his eyes and refusing to make eye contact with anyone. It could have been worse. Well, and Santa was quite adament that the monkey was a girl and kept asking him what Princess he wanted for Christmas and whatnot. Oh well, such is the life of a cute toddler with lovely long hair.
