Technically, our little man turned three months old on Thursday, but the lighting has been terrible so I only got around to snapping a couple of photos today (this is beginning to become the norm I guess) -- who knew snow could act as a wonderful reflector?

Gaius seems to have hit a growth spurt in the last week or so, because he's getting big fast. Gone are those string-bean arms & legs, replaced with slightly meaty appendages with soft rolls.
He's now about 14 pounds and just under 25 inches long, which means he's put on nearly seven pounds and six inches since he was born!
The kid is still pretty skeptical as to the benefits of sitting upright on his own (or bending at the waist for that matter). I try, but he seems rather happy to just slowly fall over to the side instead. Whatever.
(Ok yes, so technically Guy turned 12 weeks old on Thursday -- and I took photos -- but the lighting was crap so I had to try again today. The results are only moderately better, but oh well.)
We didn't make it home in time last Thursday to take his weekly photo (there's a very limited window of time when we actually have sunlight in our house) -- so I took the photo two days late and then didn't get around to posting it for a week. Oh well.
Our little Guy turned two months old on Tuesday. Crazy, right? I still have a hard time accepting that I created this miniature human that just keeps getting bigger and bigger. How the hell did I manage that? (I'm going to go ahead and go with magic)
He had his two month check-up today -- Poor thing was such a happy bugger this morning... right up until those "evil" nurses gave him his shots. According to the doc, our little man is the picture of health and growing like a weed (despite the constant spitting up): he clocked in at 10 lbs 11 oz and 25 inches long.
