You had your very first sleepover Wednesday night. You spent the evening with Grandma Sharon so that Mom & Dad could have a little break (in the form of a full night of uninterrupted sleep). We're so exciting that we were asleep in bed within an hour of dropping you off. No complaints though -- I got a whole 12 hours of sleep! Your Dad did too, but he didn't seem to enjoy it as much as me (maybe that's because he's sick).
When we came to pick you up Thursday afternoon you seemed pretty angry with us (or at least at me) -- you just cried and cried and cried... until I handed you over to Dad. I suppose you forgave us after that because you were content enough to sleep all the way through dinner.
It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. It's nice to have you back, but I'm ok with you having some quality time with Grandma every once in awhile :)
