Video - "Go to your room!"

"You will not go anywhere! Stay in your room! You will go to your room, go there by yourself and stay there!"
 

The Monkey gets a little upset with me if I buckle my seatbelt before Michael finishes buckling him into his carseat. He yells, "Don't beat me mom! No!" and is all around offended if he doesn't beat me. It's amusing, annoying, and adorable all rolled into one.

Anyway, I think we've only sent this kid to his (play)room like twice in his life, so I can only assume he picked up this punishment from hearing it at Aunt Cheri's house.

He said a variation of this a number of times on the way home (because I kept asking him over and over again) and I was doubled over laughing. It was, quite possibly, the best part of my day.
