He loves the water, but he wasn't too keen on the whole big pool experience. Too many people & that damn vest threw off his balance completely. I think we may just stick with the kiddie pool for the foreseeable future.

This kid is a fish. I'm convinced that he would be more than happy to spend the majority of his afternoons splashing around in our (sadly deflated) kiddie pool. I suppose he'll just have to make do with splashing around in the bathtub.

Summertime = Pool Time

Gaius had some "pool" time with two of his favorite cousins yesterday. He seemed to enjoy it... even though the water was only slightly above freezing.

Pool Time

It's been ridiculously hot and humid here the last couple of weeks and Gaius is much like his mother and has been pretty miserable. To help alleviate some of our discomfort, I bought this wicked awesome kiddie pool for the backyard.

Sunday Pool Day - Part II

Everyone had an amazing time at our first (and quite possibly last) pool day of the summer at Jessica's place. It was fun, but also a little melancholy since miss Jessica will be moving back to California at the end of the month (and Aunt Heather will follow shortly after).

No more Sunday pool days for our group. Bummer, right?

I guess this means that we'll have to go out and get a kiddy pool for the backyard, eh?
