Gaius loves to give the cats hugs... when they let him get close enough. I won't go so far as to say that George was a willing participant in this embrace, but ehh.

California - Feeding the Cats

Gaius loved feeding the kitties. And by feeding the cats I mean that he took the food out of their bowl and spread it all over the floor. He's quite the little helper.

I think Gaius spent a good 15-20 minutes playing with Butters this afternoon. It was glorious (because they're typically terrified of him)!

Throw tape through bars, watch cat attack, pull out of her reach, stand back amused, repeat.

Becoming Friends

The cats are finally starting to warm up to Gaius (a little) and he is absolutely fascinated with them. The cats have figured out that he can't get them without our help, so they're not too worried just yet.

But maybe they should be, because this kid is bound and determined to move. It won't be long before he doesn't need our help to "play" with the kitties.
